We’ll build on our roll out of Same Job Same Pay -ending undercutting of pay through labour hire.
Our approach has already secured wins in early education, aged care, cleaning, security, logistics and labour hire.

Better Pay and Conditions
Higher wages matter, but so do the conditions you work under every day.
We secured mandatory care time minutes in aged care. We converted casual jobs to permanent positions for airport security and cleaning workers. School cleaning was brought back in-house in NSW, with protections against outsourcing locked in across QLD.
We delivered the first multi-employer agreement for educators, now covering 520 employers and over 51,000 workers. In QLD, teacher aides won permanent jobs with school holidays pay. In WA, more than 4,000 health and education workers were converted to permanent roles.
